Paradise

Coming to shore it all felt so familiar.

"I have been here before," I sighed as the warmth wrapped me up like a memory.
Opening my soul I soon realized this shore was made for a specific two and not much more. How quickly I lost myself in this consuming paradise.

Where did I go?

And help me remember how it came to be that you arrived in my life.

As we lie back into the sand,

forgetting all care,

forgetting all life.

One day our restlessness will take over. Urging us on to follow the setting future. So we'll both stand up, on our two feet, and take the risk to discover new oceans.

Trying to lose sight of the shore.

Focus

The finger that points to the Sun,
is simply just a finger. Don't

lose the importance of the Sun by
focusing on the pointer.

This was the week before I left for Oregon and I decided to shoot up the Provo temple (with a camera:). For this picture, obviously, I turned around and faced Utah lake for a change. Looking back at these pictures it reminded me of the saying that I posted above (to your left;). How many times have I been so close to the light (in this case, the temple) and because of focusing on other details I have lost sight of the bigger picture. But hey, maybe I am reading into this picture too much. So forget everything I have said and enjoy the view!
